SharePoint 2013 - “Change the Look” breaks when editing master page Seems its just not my machine, tried it on a completely different server. Copied seattle.html / seattle.preview and renamed them both to mymaster. I then created a composed look using the master page, background image (of sea monster) and a colour scheme. I tried changing the look to my theme, and then can't change the look to any other after that... very odd. |

SharePoint 2013 - “Change the Look” breaks when editing master page I haven't yet - but have a few available thanks to the new development model we all had to set our machines up with server 2012 and SharePoint installed. I'll give it a try a little later and get back to you. Thanks so far. |

SharePoint 2013 - “Change the Look” breaks when editing master page My Examples are arbitrary (I just chose giant squid because it looked funky) to try and prove some functionality, but I'm failing at the first hurdle. In my question it does mention I tried using a minimal master page generated through the design manager and I had exactly the same problems... I also had issues trying the generation from html (completely different problems) but I might go back and take a look at that route. |

SPWebConfigModification class not found? This was a nice find - Visual Studio gives absolutely no hints why it refers to the wrong one. I found my reference path was correct, but the object browser took me to a completely different DLL. What a headache! |

SharePoint Designer not saving changes I've used size as a trivial example, in reality there are a whole range of properties I may wish to change (palette, connection string, axis label position etc. etc). Your answer may workaround the particular issue I have here in my example but is not the sort of answer I'm after. |
