My name is Mike and I work mostly in the web world doing development on web applications. My main set of experience is with ASP.NET. I've worked with 2.0, 3.5, and have worked a little with version 4.0. I have also worked with nHibernate, prototype, Scriptaculous, and jQuery.
Currently, I've moved into doing analytics development using Cognos.

What is the Correct Way to Deploy Solutions in Foundation 2010 Via C# API Thanks for your response. I just have a couple of questions before I mark it as the answer. First, I've used nothing but the SDK via C# to create trust, deploy solutions, create site collections, and set properties. The only place I use STSADM is when I ran into trouble trying the code you give for adding features. Is it correct that the feature definition must be available to the web application in FeatureDefinitions, before I can add it to the site? Also, it seems that I am not getting activation, should I call Update() afterwards? |
