A network admin with some experience doing front end SharePoint development, a little jquery and a fair amount of SQL & TSQL. Played a lot with XML data structures and XPath inside of Microsoft InfoPath. I find myself to be an IT generalist and I enjoy dabbling in different disciplines. I've blown up a few motherboards in my time...

I've been coding in VBA for over 10 years and continually find myself returning to it due to the ease of developing solutions inside of MS Office products. It might not have the horsepower of a full blown C++ application, but when it gets the job done sometimes it's all you need!

Formerly CCNA certified, have Security Plus CE cert.

Thanks for the suggestion! If I get some time at the office I will try to implement something like that. A non-code solution would be awesome but I am probably just asking too much :P The help is appreciated!

comment Multivalued Lookup field in infopath form generates errors
Any way to post a sample? Post a parallel thread on InfoPathDev asking the same question. You will be able to attach the template and put a link to the file attachment on InfoPathDev. Maybe someone there will answer your question first too!

In Central Administration goto "Security" and check "Blocked File Types". Doesn't seem like a perfect fit for the symptom, but it's worth a check :)

comment Sharepoint Foundation 2010 Hardening
The server is self contained; SQL resides on the same machine as the SharePoint install. Earlier I reviewed the TCP/IP hardening suggestions for SQL and noticed that in the SQL Server Configration Managemer for my instance TCP/IP is disabled. Other than changing the default port (which doesn't even seem to be online) and using a different service account (which I have done) I don't know that there are other steps...
