The managed metadata service application makes it possible to use managed metadata and share content types across site collections and web applications. A managed metadata service publishes a term store and, optionally, content types; a managed metadata connection consumes these.
Our SharePoint 2010 instance have 3 Web Applications, lets just call them A B and C. I have the managed-metadata service pointed to web application A. The content type hub service is enable for A. ...
I was able to sucessfully call the service but when I get my results back it looks like this (see the GetChildTermsInTermSetResult node): <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> ...
If I go to the Term Store Management Tool there is a tsid in the query string, but this value does not seem to change. Is there an easy way to get TermStoreIds and TermSetIds?
