SharePoint Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for SharePoint enthusiasts. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I'm interested in finding out how best to migrate content out of a CMS to Sharepoint 2010. I'm dealing with Ektron right now as a forward facing CMS and have lots of structured content that needs to go from an XML format to a format that sharepoint will be able to manage.

Right now, much of the content is stored in separate fields in XML for things like titles, sections, body paragraphs, WYSIWYG content, images, etc... and I wish to migrate this content to sharepoint in such a way that it's possible to still manage it in a structured way. Typically we use XSLT to render the format of this XML into presentable HTML layouts.

Does Sharepoint do anything similar such that I don't have to completely overhaul how it does content managing and displaying? Anything OOTB?
