Here's my problem. A document set gets sent to record centre and gets stuck in a drop off library as a single zipped file. On investigation there is nothing wrong with the content organizer rule nor is there any missing required metadata. The zip folder is downloaded and unpacked. Further investigation reveals one of the documents within the document set is corrupted. Some more testing reveals the corrupted document is preventing the document set from leaving the drop off library. In a non records environment it would fine to simply download the zipped document set, unpack it and upload the documents within minus the corrupt document. But from a records management point of view this is not compliant because important recordkeeping metadata will be lost. So my question is this: is there a way of sending the stuck doc set back to where it came from and unpack it there. I suppose I could always restore from backup but that does seem a little like over kill.
