SharePoint Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for SharePoint enthusiasts. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I have a document library on a site called "Guidelines" on all the subsites are document libraries also called "Guidelines" and on their subsites are more libraries called "Guidelines". All these libraries are handled by respective teams and if a document is added to a top level library it is copied to each library on each subsite.

I wrote an event receiver to also delete the document on the subsites below any library where that document is deleted, this works well unless a document library is deleted from a top level site in which case the middle site's event receiver throws an error namely "The sandboxed code execution request was refused because the Sandboxed Code Host Service was too busy to handle the request."

It only gets thrown on a subsite which contains a subsite.

I've looked at MSDN blogs but none seem to have helpful information on what may be causing the error or how to solve it.
