SharePoint Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for SharePoint enthusiasts. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I have upgraded from SharePoint Server 2010 to 2013 in our test environment. The sites are still in 2010 mode. I am getting javascript errors all over the place. For example, on our homepage I see the following:

function _spNavigateHierarchy(nodeDiv, dataSourceId, dataPath, url, listInContext, type) {

    CoreInvoke('ProcessDefaultNavigateHierarchy', nodeDiv, dataSourceId, dataPath, url, listInContext, type, document.forms., "", "\u002fPages\u002fdefault.aspx");

}

Notice the period at the end of one of the params "document.forms." I pulled the source from production (true SP2010) and it should be "document.forms.aspnetForm" - why is it different in our test environment and how do I fix it??

** EDIT: I upgraded the sites in hopes that it was a "2010 mode" issue. Unfortunately it's still happening after completing upgrade.

** EDIT: I created a brand new web application and site collection (OOTB 2013) without any javascript issues. Going to try attaching/upgrading DB again...

** EDIT: The javascript error disappeared after restoring and upgrading the DB. Weird.
