SharePoint Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for SharePoint enthusiasts. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I'm running a 2013 environment with a specific document library that I want to sync to a file share. SkyDrive Pro does exactly what I need, minus one little (but crucial) detail. When you point the SDP client to a local folder, it creates its own structure inside that folder based on the SP site structure. What I need it to do is sync directly to that top folder. Or failing that, I at least need to remove the spaces in the folder names of the structure it creates. Is this possible? I've dug through registry keys looking for it but found nothing, and can't seem to find info about it online. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated!

Edit: We've managed to work around the issue with the other application we were trying to make interface with SkyDrive, but I would still appreciate an answer to this question as it could be valuable in the future.
