I am really new to SharePoint and may just not understand something. I've tried to google for answer, but a good question consist of half of answer, so it seems, I have much less of it )
Here's the situation: I am trying to build test workflow, which is about contract's approval. (Contract is a document's library). On a first step, I want to ask user about contract's sum and put it into contract's field. So, I just can't figure out how to do it:
- Task can only return predefined values (or I didn't get how to cook it)
- Showing full contract's form is too "verbose". I just want a small InputBox for one field.
May be there's another way to ask user, which I can't see. Or, may be "I don't have to want it that way" and there's a different paradigm of user interaction.
Please, show me right way.
PS. I heard about "Collect user data" action in SP2010, but it was removed from SP2013, so I need solution, which would not be deprecated.
