My workplace is running Office 07 and 10. I am a total SharePoint newbie and was tasked with installing and configuring an SP 2007 instance to take our office paperless.
When clicking on the dropdown in SP, then clicking edit document, the doc will open up but only read only. Upon hitting the "Edit Document" button in the upper left corner word/excel freezes. Sometimes it brings up the floating office splash screen and says downloading 100% then it freezes.
I know more information is probably required. Let me know what you need infowise and I will post it.
