Is there a way to force the filter value on an InfoPath form's external item picker?
I don't want to modify the underlying ECTs to do this, because I hope to reuse the ECTs for different lists.
Orders (external list w/ "New Item" InfoPath form)
Manufacturers (input parameter on Widget ECT's Read List operation)
My Orders ECT has an assocation to my Widgets ECT. I've got an external list based on my Orders ECT such that users can create a new Orders item via an InfoPath form, selecting Widget from a picker on the form. My Widgets ETC has a Manufacturer input parameter filter on its Read List operation such that users of the "New Order" InfoPath form select (from the picker) Widgets made only by a specified Manufacturer (they specify the Manufacturer as the filter value).
I want to pre-set the Manufacturer filter value such that the Widgets picker shows widgets only from a Manufacturer I've specified (and the user cannot choose or change that Manufacturer).
I don't want to modify the ECTs to do this, because I hope to reuse the ECTs for different lists (each of which is designed to show only a certain manufacturer's widgets).
Is there a way to force the Manufacturer filter value on the Widgets external item picker?
