We're using SQL 2008 R2 in SharePoint Integration Mode to provide reporting functionality for our end users. I have a task to create subscriptions for all my end users to these reports, however I have one snag.
If I create the report subscription, they all show in "my" subscriptions, and not for the end user. This is a problem because I want the user to manage their subscription, I just want to initially create them for the users.
I've been dabbling with the Reporting Services SOAP API's, and it has helped me some, including altering the "owner" property of the report, but this doesn't affect my situation above.
Has anyone dealt with a similar situation? Any suggestions are appreciated, thanks!
Update: OK, so I just learned something new, it looks like you have to have a certain permission level to have the ability to subscribe to a report. This isn't good. I need my users to have the ability to subscribe themselves to reports as they see necessary, and ONLY have the ability to edit their own subscriptions. Help me SharePoint.StackExchange.com, you're my only hope!
