We have SQL Server 2008 R2 (x64) with MSOffice 2010 (x64) and PowerPivot x64.
We created a custom list "InformationList". We then used the "Export as Data Feed" option to generate a .atomsvc file which we then stored in SharePoint in a Data Connection Library (trusted by the Excel Services svc app).
Then we open the .atomsvc XML feed using Excel with PowerPivot and create a Pivot Table chart.
Then we Published the file to a PowerPivot Gallery in SharePoint. Once it appeared, we changed the "Manage Data Refresh" properties to allow scheduled automatic refresh. We can see on the PowerPivot Service Application Dashboard that the connection succeeds.
Then we added an Excel Web Access web part to a page, and gave it the new workbook as a source.
Our problem is that the Excel Web Access web part never refreshes the data when we change the list. Neither "Refresh Connection" nor "Reload Workbook" can trigger it.
Does anyone know how we can reach a scenario where updates are made to the original "Information List" and the changes are reflected dynamically in the Excel Web Access web part?
Thanks in advance for any assistance.
