We have one SP2010 site and in one library we have added two choice columns with drop-down menus. We have populated choice with names for each column. Columns are added to the document library but there is no choice to populate the value afterwards.
When selecting a folder in the library and select the arrow next to the column name it only shows "empty" and non of the choices added will appear. If you instead view properties of a folder there is no choice to change the column value either.
We had this in SP2007 but the function seems to have changed.
Note: We are not allowed to use SharePoint Designer to edit sites or pages. We are just admins on our site.
