I'm using 2010 enterprise and I have a custom content type that has been created from an event content type. It is basically a calendar with some new fields added to it. When a user clicks on a scheduled event and wants to delete the item I want them to click in the DisplayForm.View.Manage.Delete button area but actually be clicking my button which fires off a workflow in the background to notify different people that the event has been cancelled. I have been beating my head against this for about 20 hours. For some reason this form will not pick up on it.
In my Custom Action my RegistrationID is set to the Type value in my manifest (10001) and the
RegistrationType is set to
ContentType. The location is set to
Ribbon.DisplayForm. My sequence is 0 and TemplateAlias is 01.
CommandUIDefinition the Location is set to
In the Button element the Id is set to
Ribbon.DisplayForm.View.Manage.Delete.DispDelete, the sequence is 0 and the templateAlias is o1.
Any idea why this won't 'click' into place??
