I am trying to make the following scenario work:

  • Fetch results from FarmB and display in FarmA
  • The results will be displayed in Federated Results Webpart in FarmA
  • The WebPart's location is set to the RSS Feed of FarmB and is using OpenSearch
  • In the Credentials section of the Location settings I have specified "NTLM- Specify a username and password"

The Issue - The Query on FarmB uses "0#.w|nt authority\iusr" and not the credentials specified in the location (The userName has permissions, that has been verified)

Have been racking my head on this, no dice yet.. Suggestions ?
