I have created a SharePoint Designer workflow which is used to start the approval process. functionality : A user goes to a list and adds an item then the approver should get an email which asks him to approve the item or Reject the Item.
Now the problem is that user is getting an email to 'view the status of the workflow' and approver is getting an email like 'Review' (when approver clicks it then it opens the item that's it, he won't have an option to approve or reject it). I don't understand why the user who added an item is getting an email ? why the approver is not getting an Approval email ?
COndition used in designer : Start Approval process on currentitem with Approver. Please suggest.
