Cutting a long story short, I've exported a list template from 2007 and altered the template to version4.
The 1st time this is added to the List Gallery in a 2010 environment it imported without problem. I then created a lists from the template, the content didnt appear as expected.
Then need to try again and make an alteration to the source. After the alteration, I delete the current list and template from 2010 and attempt to add the altered template to the List Gallery. I then get an error.
Exception Details: System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException: 0x8107026dmanifest.xml not found within cabinet
The Manifest is present, also If I try the same list template in a completely new install, it works. Somehow in 2010 It appears to not completely delete the List Template. Is there a way to ensure the template is deleted?
