I am very new to Sharepoint and I am hoping there is an easy solution to this..
I have a termset that has over 70 terms. But, since we are slowing adding documents to the library, we are only using maybe 30 of those terms to tag our documents. But when I filter my column to find the term I want, I see all 70 terms. And, if I click on a term that hasn't been used yet, I get the "no results found". I only want the terms that we are actively using to be able to be selected and filtered.
For example: We have terms A, B, C, D but we only have docs taged with A, B, C - we wouldn't want the user to be given D as an option.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
