I'm trying to use SPD 2013 on an SPO 365 site (version 2013). Very fustrated that MS has apparently droped Design view.. Maybe I'm missing something here.
Anyways, I create a new aspx page from SPD 2013, but since I can't see the page in design view I'm not sure how/where to drop in my List Form (trying NewForm.aspx) .. It just keeps beeping - but I see no error or anything to tell me what I'm doing wrong.. it sounds like I'm trying to insert it into the worng part of the Page?
I tried to see if maybe (Now) directly in SPO I could insert a list in New mode on a page and edit that page, but that does not work either. It does not let me modify the original NewForm.aspx either.
We have a lot of SP 2007 pages with these types of customizations I'm wondering how we will migrate this stuff to SPO or 2013 on-prem even.
Also, we've used the DataView Web Part alot and made many XSLT changes. I don't see a way to manipulate the DVWP either. Not being able to work with the DVWP in design mode will be terrible.
