I'm not very advanced with code, so please keep that in mind. I have a central master list that contains information from a number of organizations within my company. We've then set a view for each organization to see when they access this SP 2010 list. With this, we also have multiple InfoPath 2010 forms that will need to be accessed per the organization. In other words, when sales logs on to the master list, they will be directed to the Sales view we built for them. When they click "Add New Item" I need it to go directly to the Sales InfoPath form, as opposed to the default InfoPath form of the master list.

I've searched around and I found some documentation that says that I can go in and edit a line within the newifs.aspx in SP Designer 2010. However, I'm not seeing how I can select which form to associate with its particular view. By this, I mean I can set the Default View under the Misc tag properties to 'Sales View' but then it just defaults the Sales form for each and every view of the master list. Any thoughts or comments?

We are actually going to have links at the top of the page that will direct users to their specified view. We'll also set user permissions per view based on the group (organization) we place them in – Jim Shorts Jan 29 at 13:57
Okay that is for view, but when you are inside InfoPath form... How will you be deciding? Do you have SharePoint Permission Groups for each Organization as well ?? – Arsalan Adam Khatri Jan 29 at 16:09
As for the form itself, I don't yet have any permissions set (nor am I familiar with setting permissions per InfoPath form). The ideal arrangement would be that we would direct the user to their View within the list, and once they clicked "Add New Item" it would just automatically go to their form. At the moment, when they click "Add New Item" it does to the default form and then we have a drop-down at the top where they can navigate to their specific form. I'd like to eliminate that step if possible. – Jim Shorts Jan 29 at 16:23
