My page has a PublishingWebControls:SummaryLinkFieldControl on it. By default the control requires the person choosing the linked document to choose an icon to display. I would prefer that it display the document type icon automatically.

Obviously, SharePoint knows the document types as it displays the icons on library views.

Any suggestions how I can do that?
