I have a few page layouts in SharePoint Designer 2007 and wondered how I can set the default value for some of the fields within the page layout itself rather than via the column settings in the site setting page? I want each page layout to have a different set of default values for those fields. For each page layout I have a few DateTime fields and a 'yes/no' Choice drop down.
