I am trying to mount a Sharepoint as a network drive - either via "net use * URL" or through the file explorer.
Both ways fail - and it seem to fail due to the site's wildcard certificate ("*.sharepoint.domain.tld"). I was offered to pick a certificate from my certificates each time.
I can connect to the sharepoint web interface via IE9 - but get a warning that the certificate may not be valid.
I did install the certificate in the trusted root container via crtmgr.
The funny thing is that Windows 7 seems to blame for handling wildcard certificates. I tried Cyberduck to circumvent any IE related issues - without success.
Other users with Win2K (possibly even Vista) and OS X can connect without ANY problems and mount a network drive...
What's wrong here?
