How can I modify a Forms Library column created via InfoPath

Question

I created a Status Report InfoPath form and published it to SharePoint 2010 forms library. Everything looks great, but now users are asking to make modifications. When selecting Library Settings in the ribbon, the column names are greyed out. It doesn't allow me to modify the column information.

Is there any way I can do this without re-publishing the form?
