I have created a OOTB approval workflow and assigned it to list. The workflow was working fine but recently I noticed a weird issue.
The list has unique permission and it has certain users in contributors and full control group. I have Assigned a AD group to "Assigned To" field in workflow properties.
If a user creates a list item the workflow assigns the task to list item creator instead of the AD group in the "Assigned To" and hence it sends both task created and task assigned mails to list item creator. When the workflow is completed it sends the completion mail to list item creator. very weird.
Has anyone come across such a issue?
