I previously used nintex to create a simple workflow: Condition: Compare "list name" Where: column is greater than or equal to a number e.g.'3'

How can I replicate this on SharePoint Designer 2010? Thank you

Cindy, can you please explain what Compare "list name" contained in it? – Arsalan Adam Khatri Oct 22 '12 at 10:59
it contained a list of questionnaire responses. Each Item (questionnaire response) has an ID number attached to it. This ID number is linked to another list where users can select the ID number of the item they want. Once a certain item has been selected by a user 3 times the workflow would then stop the item from being visible on the user end by not displaying the questionnaire response. – cindy Oct 22 '12 at 11:08
Cindy, you want the workflow on Questionnaire Responses or the another list ? – Arsalan Adam Khatri Oct 22 '12 at 11:18

Cindy,

Yes you can create exact same workflow with SharePoint Designer 2010..

Create a new workflow on the Questionnaire Responses list and then add a condition, "If Current Item:Field is greater than value", select proper field and give value as 3...

And now you can put actions inside the condition...

thank you Arsalan. I'm fairly new to SharePoint 2010 so unfortunately Im a little lost in your instructions. If you could clarify that wouldbe greatly appreciated. – cindy Oct 22 '12 at 12:23
Cindy, you will need SharePoint Designer 2010... Once opened, connect to the site which contains your List, on the left you will see List and Libraries, now select your desired list for which you want to make workflow, then on the top ribbon, you will see Workflows button - click List Workflow as shown in the image above! – Arsalan Adam Khatri Oct 22 '12 at 13:18
I would suggest you to look any youtube video on creating simple workflow using SharePoint Designer 2010 – Arsalan Adam Khatri Oct 22 '12 at 13:21
However, I am seeing you are not accepting the correct answers and marking as correct.. as in this post – Arsalan Adam Khatri Oct 22 '12 at 13:30
Hi, I haven't actually implemented the instructions you gave so was waiting to do that to see if it worked before I marked it correct. I am new to this forum. – cindy Oct 22 '12 at 16:13
