I created custom New Form for a discussion board and I am getting "The data source control failed to execute the insert command." error when I try to submit a new item.This only happens when one of these characters .>|\ are entered into the required "Title" field. It only seems to happen with custom new forms for discussion boards as I tried it with a normal list and there was no problem handling those characters.
I've searched around and I can't seem to find an answer. Has anyone had the same problem and found a solution to this? Thanks.
