Complete newbie so please be gentle. I have a questions relating to the Discussion board and possibility of using a standard "Template".
- Is it possible to apply a WORD or HTML based template to the BODY of a discussion to force the initial post to allow capture of certain info in a fixed and structured format (for example)
- Issue Ref: {enter Issue No}
- System: {Select Radio button - SystemA / SystemB}
- Description{Text Box}
- etc
- etc
TRIED to add image but wouldnt let me so instead of screen capture of discussion board this are example fields to capture.
I have acheived this example by using HTML tags whilst creating a post but would like to associate this kind of template to a Discussion automaticaly with minimal to no development work.
Possibly am not using the correct component here and maybe anothe sharepoint component would be better suited?
