Can't edit user personal settings as site collection administrator

enter image description hereHello, I cannot edit personal settings for a user eventhough I'm a site collection admin. We use only FBA authentication and this is on a Sharepoint 2010 Server Standalone edition. Previously I was able to modify user info (i.e. email addresses), but we installed the SP1 and this is resulting clitch. Attached is a screen shot of the problem where no textboxes on the popup form appear (useredit.aspx) . Any help would be appreciated. Since no screen shot is allowed, all that appears on the popup to edit user persmissions is "Attach" and "Delete User ..". Thanks, Jon
