SharePoint Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for SharePoint enthusiasts. It's 100% free, no registration required.

We're looking at taking our existing sharepoint 2010 setup and configuring it such that the documents can be accessed by a external CMIS client. There's plenty of documentation on how to get Sharepoint to read in external CMIS content, but not how to read Sharepoint CMIS data in an external client.

The site is configured to be publically available, and we can connect to the sharepoint CMIS provider on the intranet, but are having trouble connecting from an external source- http://public.mysite.com/_vti_bin/cmis/rest/ 404's and http://ublic.mysite.com/_vti_bin/CMISSoapwsdl.aspx?wsdl gives an error that "The given key was not present in the dictionary."
