SharePoint Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for SharePoint enthusiasts. It's 100% free, no registration required.

My workflow is automatically running after I manually starting it at my server. However, when end user add an item in my sharepoint site, the workflow is not initiated. Everytime an item is created, the workflow have to be initiated manually per item.

Another weird thing is that, one of the end user, which is a web developer. He access my sharepoint site and added an item. The workflow is running automatically after the workflow has been started. I am suspecting that this web developer guy has sharepoint designer in his computer while the others don't. Then i tried in another web developer computer, my theories is wrong. The workflow is not working after manually starting it.

Any suggestion?

Is the workflow configured to start on item creation? – PirateEric Sep 25 '12 at 5:21
Yes, I had tick all 3 start option in the workflow designer – Nazirah Sep 26 '12 at 0:09
