I've followed instructions here: http://www.sharepointsteve.com/2010/10/making-custom-user-profile-properties-searchable-in-sharepoint-2010/ on how to set up a custom property on the people search and it worked great with a string attribute.
However when I try and insert a date/time attribute, it doesn't work.
When I view the Metadata Properties for the object in the search service, it says "There are zero documents in the index using this property.". So it doesn't seem to be picking it up properly?
Is there a trick to this that someone can point me in the right direction??
