How far can I make use of the out of box mobile functionality of sharepoint 2010 to make my publishing site viewable in mobile with custome home mage and master page?

I have gone through all..they talk very little on publishing pages. In the defaulf mobile view, when I click on pages, nothing is rendered. – Biju Sep 10 '12 at 9:09
