SharePoint Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for SharePoint enthusiasts. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I recently installed and configured SharePoint 2010 Foundation and I want to change the location of the Log files to the D drive to save space on the C drive. I did this in Central Admin by changing the LOGS path to D:\SharePoint\LOGS. The Diagnostic Logging switched to the new location without a problem, BUT the Usage Data Collection Will not move! In fact if I even uncheck Enable usage data collection it still keeps logging to the 14 Hive location!

What is wrong? I have rebooted but yet it still logs away like nothing has changed. This is a standalone installation. SQL Server is on the same box.
