For Sharepoint Search Server 2010, I have removed items in the webapplication which continue to show up in the search results of sharepoint.

I need that these removed items, get deleted from the search results more ofen.

I found his article:

http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh127009.aspx

which clearly describes the deletion policies, however there is no information on what would be recommended to modify.

I identify these variables, that could be usefull:

ErrorDeleteCountAllowed - Default: 30 ErrorDeleteIntervalAllowed - Default: 720 hours

and

DeleteUnvisitedMethod - Default: 1

In my case, I felt it would be more risky to modify the first two, from 30 and 720 to 1! So I decided to go with the third one and modified the variable to 0.

What would be the best option?

Thanks!!
