How to enable standard ribbon like data sheet view to the spgridview which is in application page?

Question

I have one application page there i am getting task and doc list information and displaying in spgrid view.Like the sharepoint list view. Now i need to enable the some standard Sharepoint list functionality to that spgridview like Data sheet view for list. Is that possible to do? or we need to add add cutom button and cutom code to do this?
