In my WSS 3.0 system, I'm seeing an odd permission issue.
I have a list with some broad permissions and inside it are some folders where inheritance is broken and some more restrictive permissions are set. The documents within those folders inherit their permissions.
Some list items appear to be inheriting their permissions from the list itself rather than their parent folder. I'm not able to determine what the difference is between the two sets of files.
What can be happening here?
