I am customizing the out-of-the-box approval workflow and would like a way to modify the "Change Request" task functionality. By default, if the user who is making the change request does not enter a user in the "Change Request From" field, the change request task gets sent to the person who instantiated the workflow.
I would like to be able to change the default to be a user lookup from the "Current Item" workflow context.
I can edit the InfoPath form for the change request task, but how can I edit the underlying functionality?
