I have developed and implemented a portal in my organization and its a classic mode and Kerberos (Negotiate) enabled web application. At home I have created a ditto (similar) virtual environment even the DC controller, SQLServer and WFE names are same and name of the users in DC are same also and took the backup of content database from office production environment and created same web application with SPN's on DC and ran "Mount-SPContenetDatabase" ..Mount was succesful.
I've added myself as site collection administrator..but when I logged in with my credentials I don't get ribbon bar..but when I access the portal using "SPFarmConf" its a user which I've used while installation where you define database server and an account to create farm and do configuration the ribbon bar appears.
Also when I try to access the site through designer I get "Access Denied"..I've tried adding myself into webapplication->user policy then I got ribbon bar and was able to get the contents using designer but cannot check-out and check-in ...I think its a matter of SID which are different...
But I want to work in office and home and want to synchronize..how to make it work ..please guide.
