I'm doing a migration from 2007 to 2010 and one of the issues I've run up against is the Content Query Web part seems to come pre populated in my 07 install, and this behaviour overwrites my nice blank CQWP in 2010. Whenever I try to make a new Content Query Web part in 2010 (post migration) It comes out like

I want to return the CQWP to it's original (blank) setting for whenever I instantiate a new web part. How would I go about doing this? Any help is greatly appreciated

Have you tried removing it from the webpart gallery and then add it again? – Daniel Ziga Jun 14 '12 at 13:32
I've tried to do this, but when I add the web part back in again it looks like this:- here – Jimbob Jun 14 '12 at 14:17
