I have a document library in which i will have reports that are generated daily. I would like to have the reports emailed to the document library and use versions to keep the old files up to 14 days worth. This part is simple enough.
Now the tricky part comes in when i need to ad a filter of some sort, be it a date filter or a custom filter, that allows the user to select a date up to 14 days in the past and refresh display the corresponding documents that fall in that version.
For example if today is 06/05/2012, the latest documents sent in this morning are displaying, but if i select the date 06/01/2012 from the date/list filter i would like to see the documents versions that were created on that date (or whos create date is 4 days offset prior to today).
Any help will be VERY MUCH appreciated. I have been researching list versions and filters and am stumped. I did find this site http://stefan-stanev-sharepoint-blog.blogspot.com/2009/08/how-to-display-all-versions-in.html, but it did not work for me in SharePoint 2010
