I created a few list templates from existing lists with their contents.

Former Title field was renamed and its "Maximum number of characters:" changed in existing original source lists which were used for list template creation.
Now when I create lists from these custom templates, that ex-Title column is again back to "Title" name and 255 as maximun width.

How can I prevent this?
Sharepoint 2010

Update:
In the root site of my Sharepoint 2010 webapplication of my website collection I renamed the title column (name) by : "Site Actions" --> "Site Settings" --> "Site content type" (under "Galleries" section --> "Item" link (under "List Content Types" section)

And all "title" fields of all lists in all site and subsites of website collection changeв its name for a new name.
Though, intention was to have new "title"-field names in newly created lists only.
How can I safe-guard "title" field name from changing centrally?
