I have a custom field type with a CAML render pattern that displays an image or a link to an application page depending on the value of the field. It works perfectly except when you apply a filter to the list view. For example, a current user filter. When I apply a filter to the webpart list view, the html for the img (or link) gets displayed as text. If I remove the filter from the list webpart, the image (or link) shows back up fine. Has anybody encountered this before and have any idea how to resolve it?
