SharePoint Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for SharePoint enthusiasts. It's 100% free, no registration required.

We have a large document library with alot of folders (lets say 500), when we navigate forward using the page navigation at the bottom and then go back to the first page, SharePoint redirects/jumps to another folder in the library. We check the breadcrumb and it shows the root folder, it does not always keep the user in the same folder.

Has anyone seen this before?

What do you mean with "page navigation at the bottom". Did you create your own navigation, because there is none at the bottom OOTB? – moontear Mar 29 '12 at 8:28
When a document library has more than 30 folders/items there will be the page navigation arrows at the bottom of the items. < 1-30 > I found a fix I was looking for, in the library if you edit the library page and then the default web part. I enabled the Asynchronous Update in the AJAX options and this works. – dmartnz Mar 29 '12 at 20:23
Ah, didn't think about paging. Good you already figured out your answer. You can also answer your own question. – moontear Mar 30 '12 at 13:28
