I recreated UPS after installing sp1 and June cu. UPS works fine, I am able to sync and I can all 260 employees have been populated.

my site is under -http://portal.uos.com/my (my site settings under UPS is also completed)

Alternate mapping looks like -http://netbios default -http://portal.uos.com (do I need add another aam for mysite)

Admin settings for UPS looks good (I added all the accounts with full just to make sure i did not miss any account)

I think same reason why people crawl does not work. I tried sps3://SP2010-APP. But it says object not found

Please suggest.

Is the UPS application associated with the web application? – ToddersLegrande Feb 13 '12 at 18:33
Yes, I went to "Service App association" and made sure the newly created UPS Proxy is part of the default web app. – Steve Golado Feb 13 '12 at 18:38
