We are using Office 365. On the sharepoint team site, I created a calendar under Lists called Vacation Calendar. It shows correctly on the team site. When I connect the calendar to Outlook, it ends up with the name "Team Site - Paul Smith". Paul Smith being me. I created the calendar logged in as me. This name is coming from the folder name attribute of the calendar. I can change it by hitting the Advanced button of the connection process. How can change the folder name at the sharepoint level so it doesn't happen to other people?

I also created other calendars and contact lists and it does the same thing for them too.

I'm a bit surprised by your experience, because when I add a site or list or whatever in SharePoint, I can choose a name like I want to. So my question is: what options do you have and use when you create your SharePoint object? Or do you mean it is useless how you name your list, always your account name will be added? – Shegit Brahm Feb 7 '12 at 9:04
I tried different things to connect to Outlook, but I always get only the name of the list proposed in Outlook. I would (not) wonder, if this is a difference between 365 & 2010, because we have only 2010. – Shegit Brahm Feb 7 '12 at 11:00
