I have just upgraded from SharePoint 2007 to SharePoint 2010 and the welcomelinks.aspx page no longer shows the left navigation section.

The file was checked out during upgrade which might explain it.

Could somebody on SharePoint 2010 post the code within the new welcomelinks.aspx so that I can compare against my page to see if some updates need to be made.

Just to add that the default.aspx page also has issues. The section has the outline but the 'view all content and recycle bin' do not appear. – Pierce Oct 14 '11 at 10:37
Was the upgrade successful? Did you do the Visual Upgrade or are you still running on V3? – Mike Oryszak Oct 14 '11 at 15:36
Yes the upgrade was successful and the visual upgrade applied to al sites. Its only those two pages that have issues. I manually deleted the lines 'code' .v4master #s4-leftpanel { display: none; } .v4master .s4-ca { margin-left: 0px; }' from the default page to resolve that but the welcomelinks2 page still has issues. – Pierce Nov 17 '11 at 10:55
