SharePoint Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for SharePoint enthusiasts. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I have created a master page using SharePoint designer and deploying it through the module in Visual Studio.

I have created feature receiver which will set the master page when it is activated.

After activating the feature I am getting an error like : Server tag is not well formed.

After searching for hours for issue I found that if I remove below content then it works fine.
The content which is required to be removed is :

    <a id="linkTurnOnAcc" title="<SharePoint:EncodedLiteral runat='server' text='<%$Resources:wss,master_turnonaccessibility%>' EncodeMethod='HtmlEncode' __designer:Preview="Turn on more accessible mode" __designer:Values="

"/>" href="#" class="ms-accessible ms-acc-button" onclick="SetIsAccessibilityFeatureEnabled(true);UpdateAccessibilityUI();document.getElementById('linkTurnOffAcc').focus();return false;"><SharePoint:EncodedLiteral ID="EncodedLiteral1" runat="server" text="<%$Resources:wss,master_turnonaccessibility%>" EncodeMethod="HtmlEncode"/>

The problem is that after applying the master page the options which appears on top right corner (like Site Contents, Site Settings etc.) disappears.

The solution which is I am using is Sandbox Solution.

What should I do to tackle the issue?
